Happy Thanksgiving!

As we celebrate Thanksgiving, try to remember that the original Pilgrim settlement started out as an early experiment in Communism, and the people starved for two years. There wasn't any extra food until 1623, when William Bradford gave each family custody of a parcel of land and let the family keep what food it produced that year. Thank God for capitalism!
