Moving up

Via Reuters - apparently, Bishop Donald Wuerl of Pittsburgh is to be the successor to Cardinal McCarrick in D.C.

This is all well and good, but it does make me wonder why the Youngstown Diocese still doesn't have a bishop. Bishop Tobin was transferred to Providence in March of 2005, and we've been bishopless since. This was glaringly obvious a few weeks ago, where instead of a "bishop's appeal" we just had "our priest asking for stuff." I do wonder what is taking so long.
