Kent State in the news

Kent State University - a self-styled bastion of free speech - has decided to prevent Kent State athletes from posting anything on Facebook. Apparently some marketing Ph.D decided that masking the unmitigated idiocy of certain athletes is more important than letting them broadcast to the entire world the fact that they are unreconstructed morons.

This is something like using Band-Aids to treat cancer, I think.

I'm waiting to see the ACLU step in on this, though I expect that they're trying to figure out how to get Christians from posting Bible verses on Facebook.
